Belinda McGowan, Founder & HR Business Partner

Belinda McGowan is the founder of Sunday HR and brings almost two decades of experience across the legal profession, government regulatory compliance and real-world human resources.

With a background spanning litigation support, compliance, and both internal and consulting HR roles, she offers a grounded, practical understanding of people, culture and compliance.

She’s known for her calm, steady approach, strong communication skills, and ability to create clarity without sacrificing compassion. Clients trust her for her adaptability, empathy and collaborative style.

Sunday HR was born from Belinda’s belief that HR should feel clear, human and genuinely helpful - not overwhelming, and definitely not cookie-cutter. She now helps organisations build strong foundations, navigate tough situations with confidence, and create workplaces people want to be part of.

Belinda holds a Bachelor of Social Science, a Diploma of Legal Services, and a Diploma of Human Resources Management. She is recognised as a Professional Member through the Australian Institute of HR (AHRI).

Belinda also volunteers as a Committee Member for the Victorian Truck Drivers Memorial, reflecting her commitment to supporting real people doing real work.
